In order to further understand the quantitative findings revealed in the CRFCF examination of the 2000 Census of Population and Housing for Bermuda, this study explores the educational and career aspirations of young Bermudian Black men from their own perspectives. The quantitative study reveals that the unemployment rate of young Bermudian Black men is almost double the unemployment rate of young White Bermudian men and that Black Bermudian males also obtain less education than their same-age peers, both male and female
